The Kaireios library has an extensive collection of manuscripts, rare publications, works of art, as well as Theophilos Kairis’ historical records (Kairis was a philosopher and a theologian). The library organizes exhibits, seminars, conferences and musical/literary events; it also funds research on issues relating to Andros.
In the summer, exhibitions and special events take place in an annex space. The founder and soul of the library was Demetrios Polemis.
