Ursuline & Jesuit Monastery
Loutra 842 00, GreeceAfter the catastrophe of Kastro, the Jesuits monks and Ursulines nuns founded their monasteries in Loutra village in Kato Meria. In 1862, the monastery of Ursulines was founded by a nun of the convent and at the same time a female school with primary, junior high, orphanage and carpet craft school. Today, it is converted into museum where they are exhibited handiworks, musical instruments and students’ books. Respectively, Jesuits Monastery is now the Agricultural Museum which hosts artefacts and agricultural tools.
