The first zoological park in Greece is located in Spata and covers an area of 200 acres, housing more than 2,000 animals from 350 different species. It opened its first doors in May 2000 as a Bird Park, the third largest bird collection in the world (1,100 birds from 300 different species), farm animals and three very impressive large cages where visitors can walk and admire the corresponding fauna and flora. Since then, the Attica Zoological Park is growing steadily and today includes animals from around the world, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, tigers, jaguars, dolphins, parrots, bears, penguins, camels, rhinoceros, sea lions, chimpanzees, lemurs, alligators and many etc. Experience a memorable experience with family or friends, watching the flight of birds of prey or animal feedings and meet wildlife in all its glory.
